Decisions, decisions, decisions. Here is where you decide you’d like all the downhill legs, or put on the spandex and be the hero of the team.

For the RACE category:

If you are Cyclist One on a four-lady team, you’ll ride legs 1 and 5, Cyclist Two will ride legs 2 and 6, and so on.

If there are two on your team, Cyclist One will ride legs 1, 3, 5 and 7 and Cyclist Two will take the others.

Since we are giving awards for the race categories, we need to keep the playing field even after all.

For the FUN RIDE teams, it’s a whole different story:

Here we are giving lots of flexiblity. You’ll sign up as Cyclist One, Two, etc., but you can make your exchanges however you like. And you can decide that before or during the ride.

You can put your best hill climber on the steeper hills and give the flats to the newbie.  You can trade at each exchange point or ride a couple of legs before passing the baton. Like the jingle goes, have it your way. All we ask is that you change riders at the exchange points. And have fun!
